Paola’s practice mainly focuses on commercial and corporate law issues.
She has developed considerable experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of national and international contracts, from stock acquisitions to joint venture agreements, from license agreements to high- tech services agreements. Paola is recognized as a recommended counsel in the area of private equity and M&A by international publications.
Paola especially advises companies active in the field of new technologies which, due to the kind of products and services rendered, require sophisticated and innovative legal solutions. She also provides legal assistance to multinational companies and to their Italian subsidiaries on intellectual property and regulatory issues.
She advises a number of innovative companies active in the fields of life sciences, renewable energies, software and financial services. Furthermore, she is the key-contact for Italian legal matters of the largest worldwide manufacturer of medical devices.
In 2012 Paola has been awarded with the title of “Life Science Professional of the Year” for Italy by the legal journal Lawyers Monthly. Paola has been mentioned in WHO’S WHO LEGAL – LIFE SCIENCES for the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 editions.
Flavio assists multinational companies in their Italian and cross-border operations, advising on a wide range of issues of corporate and commercial law. He has been involved in a variety of merger and acquisition projects, and has assisted clients in a number of international transactions in the fields of renewable energy and life sciences.
Flavio is also experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements of different kinds and has tackled complex commercial matters involving delicate aspects of labor and insolvency law. His commercial practice currently covers credit arrangements, clinical trials, agency and distribution agreements.
Flavio received an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School, where he focused on the study of issues that lie at the intersection of law and new technologies. In addition to his strong academic background, Flavio offers a solution-driven approach and he is able to effectively work in team with clients.
Marco deals with industrial and intellectual property, information technology and contracts, with specific focus in the life sciences and high technology sectors.
In his litigation activity Marco deals with disputes in patent and know-how matters, as well as in relation to trademarks, designs, copyrights, unfair competition and misleading advertising.
Marco has also significant experience in the drafting and negotiation of agreements for the licensing, exploitation, valorization and acquisition of intellectual property rights, R&D and collaboration agreements as well as IT related contracts, also in the context of extraordinary corporate transactions and technology transactions.
In the life sciences sector, Marco is regularly involved in drafting and negotiating agreements for the manufacturing, supply, distribution and co-marketing of pharmaceutical products and medical devices as well as of clinical trials agreements.
Marco graduated in Law in 2003 from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, and in 2008 he obtained a with distinction Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from the London King’s College.
Francesco graduated from the State University of Milan in 2018, discussing a civil law thesis entitled “Protection of beneficiaries and third parties’ rights: the rules concerning the circulation of the trust property in the Italian legal system”.
Francesco cooperated with some boutique law firms in Milan, gaining experience in civil and corporate law, with particular reference to litigation, draft of commercial contracts and transactions involving the sale and purchase of shareholdings.
Leonardo graduated in 2018 from the Catholic University of Milan with a thesis in Theory of the State titled “Silvio Trentin’s federalist thought and its reflections on the Italian Constitution”. In January 2022 he was admitted to the Italian bar before the Milan Court of Appeal.
Leonardo mainly deals with corporate law, compliance and commercial contracts, especially in the Life Sciences sector.
Jessica mainly deals with issues related to companies operating in the health and life sciences sectors.
She graduated cum laude in 2022 from the University of Trento with a dissertation entitled “Civil liability related to the organizational deficit of the health care system in dealing with the pandemic emergency: a comparison between Italy and Germany”, besides carring out a period of research in collaboration with the chair of health law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
